The Metropolis of Chicago-Western Region Family Basketball Tournament's goal is to bring together the parishes of the Western Region in order to build up the Church of Christ, by confirming our unity and common faith. This will be accomplished through worship, workshops, fellowship, and games.

We encourage all Metropolis parishes of Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the Quad Cities to participate. Other parishes in Illinois may participate only with the approval of the Hierarch of the Metropolis. There are four divisions: Men’s, Women’s, Boy’s, and Girls. Team registration cost is $225.00. Late entries are only admitted by Tournament committee approval and gym availability.

A portion of the proceeds from the tournament benefit two Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago ministries.
